France will send instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian military personnel, reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
He, together with the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, held a video meeting with the Minister of the French Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu.
"I am pleased to welcome the initiative of France to send instructors to Ukraine for training Ukrainian military personnel,” said the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Syrsky said that he had already signed documents “that will allow the first French instructors to soon visit our training centers and get acquainted with their infrastructure and personnel.”
"I believe that France's determination encourages other partners to join this ambitious project. “I thanked Mr. Minister for the friendly support of the French people and military and economic assistance to Ukraine to repel Russian military aggression,” said General Syrsky.
