The procedural leadership of the Pryluky District Prosecutor's Office reported the suspicion of a resident of the Pryluky district in fraud committed through illegal transactions using electronic computing equipment.
The pre-trial investigation established that in October 2024, a 25-year-old girl created and posted on the social network «Facebook» invalid advertisements for the sale of household appliances, kitchen sets, and home furniture. While communicating with interested buyers, she misled them, assuring them that the goods were in stock. The suspect provided details of various bank cards to which the buyers transferred funds as a prepayment for the purchased goods.
Having taken possession of the victims' other people's funds, the girl disposed of them at her own discretion, not intending to fulfill her obligations to sell furniture and appliances.
