Fortnite developers are constantly changing something in their game to level the goal of the Royal Battle and introduce some novelty. Among other things, they are constantly replenishing the collection of items with new weapons, costumes and other goods that you can buy. Sometimes it happens that the company returns something that was previously in the game, but for some reason disappeared. This is exactly what will happen in the near future.
The developers will add to the game a weapon that has already appeared in Fortnite before, literally on the first day of its existence, but only stayed there for 30 minutes before disappearing for years without any explanation. On January 14, insider HYPEX, who regularly leaks information about Fortnite updates, posted a message on his account saying, “Zapotron has confirmed that he will be back soon.”
This has already caused a lot of excitement among old-timers and fans, but there is a problem: although the weapon is coming back, it will be limited to the Fortnite OG mode, meaning it will only work on the original map and gameplay that reproduces the game as it was in 2017.
HYPEX revealed the statistics of the new weapon:
Of course, the post went viral very quickly and currently has more than 22,000 likes and more than a thousand reposts. Many players are literally shocked by such a return, as this item has managed to become legendary in recent years.
Some joke that the company will re-add this weapon for 30 minutes and then remove it for another eight years. We won't be able to verify this until the item is added, but when that will happen is unknown.
