The protection of Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico will be “extremely long” after serious fire injuries to the stomach.
This was stated by the PM's advocate Slovakia's Prime Minister and Defense Minister Robert Kalinak, tells Barrons.
Fico is still in hospital after the attack, which occurred on May 15.
– The prime minister's duties are set on the right path. It will be extremely long due to the severity of his injuries,— Kalinyak said, adding that Fico had already begun to live with food.
The Slovak Prime Minister underwent two long-term operations at the Banska Bystrica hospital. Only after this did doctors assess his condition as satisfactory.
Erik Kalynyak, a government official who was present during the shooting, told reporters that only a few millimeters saved Fizo from fatal injury.
