Experts told how to charge a mobile phone faster

Accelerated phone charging will allow you to spend less time charging and more time using the device.

Because phones use more resource-intensive programs and services , charging speed has become an important factor when buying a new gadget.

How to speed up phone charging?

As more and more resource-intensive applications and services are used on phones, charging speed has become a key factor when using the device.

Tip 1: Use a fast phone charger.

To take advantage of fast charging on your phone, you'll need a compatible fast charger . Most modern Android phones support USB Power Delivery (USB PD), and the iPhone – USB PD or Apple's own fast charging standard.

Tip 2: Turn on Charging Mode (Android phones only).

Many Android phones have a special “Charging Mode” or “Supercharge” mode that allows you to temporarily disable battery-draining apps and services , while charging. Check your device settings to enable this feature and enjoy continuous fast charging.

Tip 3: Allow your phone to turn off while charging.

If you leave your phone fully on while charging, it will overheat and drain the battery faster than it can charge. Turn off your phone before connecting to the network to prevent charging activity. This forces your phone to focus all its resources on charging the battery only.

Tip 4: Use the original phone cable and charger.

For optimal safety and charging speed, it is best to use the charger and USB cable that came with the phone. These components have been tested and designed specifically for your make and model. Mixing and matching charging accessories from different brands often results in slower charging.

Tip 5: Turn on your phone's airplane mode.

Turning on airplane mode turns off power-hungry connectivity features, such as mobile data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. If they are turned off, more energy goes directly to charging the battery, instead of powering antennas and radios.
