Engels, Yeisk, Morozovsk: military airfields were attacked by drones in Russia at night

On the night of April 5, military airfields of the aggressor country were massively attacked – in Rostov, Saratov regions and Krasnodar region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Radio Liberty, which is monitoring the situation.

Local Telegram channels wrote that the target of the drone attack was the airfield in Morozovsk, Rostov region, where the Su fighter jets are based. 34, which are actively operating along the front line. The Russian authorities do not officially confirm this information. Eyewitnesses reported numerous drones and counted more than 60 explosions. Also, local residents claim that they saw “more than 15 air targets” with their own eyes.

At the same time, the governor of the region, Vasyl Golubev, only admits that an electric substation in the Moroziv district was damaged.

On Friday morning, the city of Engels in the Saratov Region, where a military airfield is also located, was attacked by drones. Local media wrote about explosions in the area of ​​the airfield, which had already been repeatedly attacked by drones. Tu-95 and Tu-22 heavy bombers, which are used for strikes on Ukraine, are based there.

The governor of the region, Roman Busargin, claims that all the drones have been eliminated, and according to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage to the infrastructure during the fall of the debris.

Residents of the city of Yeysk in the Krasnodar Territory said that, in addition to loud explosions, they heard the sound of automatic rifles. All this is also in the area of ​​the local airfield.
