Elon Musk will have to face justice again. And for good reason: a game publisher has decided to sue the billionaire who is at the head of Tesla, SpaceX and the social network X in a legal case that is, to say the least… surprising. Explanations.
Indeed, Elon Musk is once again being sued by the publisher of a well-known game: Cards Against Humanity. This satirical card-based board game is inspired by the exquisite corpse in which players must complete statements that are missing a part by using words to form a sentence that is the most offensive and politically incorrect. In France, you are probably familiar with the game Blanc Manger Coco or Limite Limite which were largely inspired by the original concept.
You are probably wondering why the board game decided to sue the SpaceX boss when the two parties are in radically different universes? Quite simply because of a story about land being illegally exploited by the South African billionaire's aerospace companywhile this plot had been purchased by Cards Against Humanity (CAH).

Thus, the company publishing the satirical game collected donations of $15 from around 150,000 people to become owners of the land in question.
Except that today, we learn from the creators of the game that their basic project which was to “protect a piece of virgin land on the border (…) against the very stupid wall of the racist billionaire Donald Trump” was sabotaged by Elon Musk:
Unfortunately, an even richer and racist billionaire, Elon Musk, sneaked up behind our backs and completely screwed up this land.
As a result, CAH decided to file a lawsuit in Cameron County District Court, along with photos showing the land before and after it was trashed by SpaceX “with gravel, tractors, and space junk.” The plaintiffs say that after taking Musk's company to court, SpaceX gave them “a 12-hour ultimatum to accept a paltry offer of less than half the value of our land.” The offer was declined by CAH and has therefore turned to the courts to claim $15 million from the billionaire's company. The creators of Cards Against Humanity have declared that if they obtain compensation, they will offer the 2017 donors the sum of $100 each.
