Dune Prophecy: The long-awaited HBO series finally has an official release date

Just a few months after the immense success of Denis Villeneuve's Dune, Part 2, fans of Frank Herbert's universe are eagerly awaiting the release of Dune: Prophecy, whose launch date has been officially announced.

Produced by Denis Villeneuve, Dune: Prophecytakes place 10,000 years before the advent of Paul Atréides. It will follow the beginnings of the Bene Gesserit, a group of women who influence political and religious spheres, and which includes Dame Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), Dame Margot Fenring (Charlotte Rampling) and Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh). In other words, as soon as the series The Penguin is officially over, HBO will continue its momentum with the first series in the Dune universe. While the number of episodes has not been officially announced by the legendary cable channel, some sources are reporting a six-episode mini-series.
