Dragon Ball Z: 8 Characters Goku Didn't Know Existed

Throughout Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Son Goku has faced and eliminated a large number of enemies. Yet here is a short list of warriors that the Saiyan has never met.

#1 Saibaman

Saibamen are green humanoid creatures that grow from a seed planted in the ground. Vegeta and Nappa use it against the Earth's defenders at the beginning of the Saiyan arc to test their strength.Similar in strength to Radditz, they are ferocious, and are capable of self-destruction. Yamcha knows something about it. Indeed, Goku has not met the Saibaman. When he landed from the other world, they were already exterminated by Krillin and Piccolo following Yamcha's death, and almost the entire Z Fighters team was eliminated.

#2 Dodoria

In the Namek saga, Goku arrives very late on the planet. Most of the arc focuses on the search for the Dragon Balls by the three groups, represented on the one hand by Krillin, Gohan and Bulma, Vegeta on the other, and finally by the entire squad of space warriors led by Freezer. For his part,Goku spends his time in his spaceship training, before landing right on time to confront the Ginyu commando. #3 Zabon

Just like Dodoria, Zabon is part of Freezer's close guard. And just like his sidekick, Vegeta rubs shoulders with him. But the duel is not as easy for the Saiyan. During the first confrontation, Zabon crushes him thanks to his transformation (a sort of rampage mode) and leaves him almost for dead. After healing himself in a medical machine, the proud prince of the Saiyans takes his revenge and manages to kill his opponent after a close duel. Once again, Goku was not yet on Namek during this event. If that were the case, there is no doubt that the fight would have been a formality. for him.

#4 Guldo

Will Goku arrive in time to save his friends from the terrible Ginyu commando? When Freezer's special forces land on Namek, Krilin, Gohan and Vegeta, who are outnumbered, are in a very bad position. This is confirmed some time later when the colossus Recoome crushes the trio in turn. The outcome seems to be all found when Goku miraculously intervenes to save them,before chaining the members of the commando. But when he arrives, there are only four warriors left. Vegeta has, in fact, managed to eliminate Guldo, the weakest of the group.

#5 Nail

For those who have forgotten, Nail is the strongest of the Namekian fighters (apart from Piccolo). He is responsible for protecting the Great Chief. His combat potential is 42,000, which is 10 times the power of an ordinary Namekian. As a proud fighter and defender of his people, he tries to slow down Freezer, without putting up a fierce resistance. He meets Piccolo who is seriously injured, and decides to merge with him to obtain a considerable power gain. This event takes place after Goku's fight against the Ginyu commando,as he heals from his injuries in the medical machine.

#6 Grand Roi cold

After killing Freezer on Namek, life resumes its course on Earth… Until the arrival of a detachment of soldiers led by a cyborg Freezer and his father, the Great King Cold. Saved by the latter, Freezer wants revenge on Goku by going to Earth to confront him. But upon their arrival, they come across the Trunks of the future, who has come to warn the Z Fighters of the android threat to come. At this time, Goku has not yet returned from his journey to Namek, and will not see Trunks destroy the two aliens without restraint.

#7 Bio Broly

Bio Broly is the main antagonist of the OAV Dragon Ball Z: Super Warrior Attack!and therefore a clone of Broly. After being defeated twice by the Z Fighters, his blood is recovered by the shaman of the village Natade (where Broly was once defeated), which allowed Baron Jaguar Batta to reconstitute the warrior using biotechnology techniques. Raised in hatred of Goku, he does not however meet his worst enemy in the film. It is Gohan then adult, accompanied by C-18 Trunks and Son Gotens who are responsible for facing him. Goku is still in the other world, following his death during the Cell Games.

#8 Evil Buu

While he eliminates Buu in his final form thanks to his Genkidama in episode 286, he did not fight all of the transformations of Babidi's creation. He was absent when Buu transformed in Majin Boo (bad), after his split with the other Boo (so the good one). It was the latter who tried to hinder the evolution of his enemy, before finally being swallowed. For her part, Goku left with her son for the world of the Kaiōshins.
