Don't get caught: Naftogaz warns Ukrainians about scammers

The company “Naftogaz” has issued a warning to Ukrainians. The thing is that scammers have appeared who are spreading false advertising on behalf of the company.

What consumers were warned about

The fake publications from the Naftogaz group talk about a payment of 5,000 hryvnias and the provision of free gas to Ukrainians, writes Channel 24 with reference to the company's press service.

Be careful: we do not collect any applications for the provision of free services or the payment of money to pay for gas,
– the company warned.

Naftogaz explained that such posts are made with the aim of:

  • obtaining personal data;
  • stealing citizens' funds.

Naftogaz appeals to consumers not to follow unknown links and to trust only official sources.
