Disney: the sequel to this animated saga confirmed, nostalgia guaranteed

Are you tired of hearing Disney announce live-action remakes? Would you rather see the characters from your animated franchises return for new adventures? Reading this article will please you, because the voice of one of the heroes of your childhood will soon be back!

this hilarious saga now under the Disney umbrella is back!

Shrek, Super Mario Bros., Frozen, Toy Story… Several famous animated franchises will be back in 2026, to the delight of their fans, and not just those stamped Disney. Which does not mean that the big-eared firm, which has (a little too) entangled in live-action versions of its classics that no one asked for, does not concoct anything for us. Indeed, the studios, which have bought several of their competitors over the past decade, have added to their catalog sagasflourishing on which they intend to capitalize. Since the acquisition of Fox Entertainment Group by Disney in 2019, of which Blue Sky was a part, no Ice Age had yet been announced by the studio. At least until an interview Wait, Wait with the American voice of Sid, John Leguizamo, who confirmed that a sixth opus is in the pipeline for the firm!

Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger… The original trio of Ice Age, joined by a slew of other protagonists throughout their adventures, is inseparable from our childhood. Their adventures, as funny as they are moving, were released in regular intervals on our cinema screens between 2002 and 2016. It's 2024, and we have to admit that the wait between the fifth installment of the franchise and the next one is starting to be long. There's no doubt that the announcement of a sequel will excite the public, to whom Sid, Diego and Manny have been too rare. Count on Hitek to keep you informed of the first details about the film!
