Former member of the Beatles music group Paul McCartney became the first British musician-billionaire. He increased his fortune by 50 million pounds in the past year.

The list of the richest also included the author of the Harry Potter series, Joan Rowling, whose fortune is estimated at 945 million pounds, musician Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham. The BBC writes about it.

He became a billionaire thanks to the Got Back in 2023 tour, the profit value of his back catalog and Beyoncé's cover version of the song Blackbird, written in 1968

In addition, two Beatles albums – “The Red Album” from 1962-1966 and “The Blue Album” from 1967-1970 – were reissued in 2023 with 21 new songs.

In November of the same year, the song “Now And Then” was released as “the last Beatles track” – it was demoed by John Lennon around 1979, and now with the help of artificial intelligence it was recorded with by all musicians.

This year's list of 350 individuals and families together have a combined fortune of £795.3bn, which the Sunday Times says is bigger than the economy of Poland.
