Developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), this aircraft has a maximum speed of Mach 1.8. A combat radius of 2 900 km and is equipped with advanced systems such as active phased array antenna (AESA) radars and electro-optical targeting systems. The fighter is designed to strengthen South Korea's defense autonomy and reduce dependence on foreign suppliers.
