Deadpool: Wade Wilson killed by Marvel, we explain how

This Deadpool Enemy Got The Superhero Done

While Deadpool is doing great in theaters, the same can't be said for the comic book character… Well-known for his big mouth and healing factor, Wade Wilson is a mutant who is not afraid of anything. Nothing, except this supervillain who can kill him! First appearing in the comic book series dedicated to the Mercenary, Death Grip is a villain with terrifying mystical powers. This “sorcerer” is able to repel bullets and make objects disappear, but also and above all, to make his opponent's healing factor disappear. Indeed, since Deadpool #4, in which this villain used his magical abilities to merge with the Muramasa Sword, he has been able to defeat him. And in Deadpool #6, the superhero is still recovering from his last fight against Death Grip, and he is reduced to moving around in a wheelchair since he cannot regenerate a new leg or a new right arm.

In the last issue of his series, Wade Wilson cut off Death Grip's hands, preventing him from practicing his dark magic for which he is known. We thought he was out of trouble, but no… Deadpool is ambushed by the villain, who reappears with both hands firmly attached to his wrists. The fight between the two men is unequal: Death Grip's first attack condemns Deadpool's left arm, leaving him with only his left leg. Then he casts a spell to lift the superhero off the ground, and follows up with an explosive spell that radiates blue energy throughout the room, leaving Wade Wilson's body lifeless. His last words are the whisper of his daughter's name, “Ellie“, while a tear runs down his eye.
