Released last July, the film Deadpool & Wolverine is a hit for Marvel Studios. The third installment of Wade Wilson's adventures in the cinema, which also makes its arrival in the MCU, continues to interest and fascinate fans as members of the team reveal its secrets. The production is full of easter eggs for the greatest pleasure of the public. Today, we discover that one of them cost the studio dearly.
While Deadpool & Wolverine has blown up the box office by grossing over $1.3 billion worldwide, Shawn Levy's film continues to reveal some secrets. We can no longer count the number of cameos that Marvel production offers. There are also easter eggs and today we discover that one of them was particularly expensive and weighed heavily on the production budget.
Indeed, it was the film's editors, Dean Zimmerman and Shane Reid, who recently shared some previously unknown information about Deadpool 3. They returned on a scene that is WTF and that takes place at the very beginning of the feature film.

So, at the beginning of the film, Wade Wilson wanders through the multiverse in order to find Logan. Deadpool decides to go to Logan's universe to dig up the corpse of the mutant who died in James Mangold's film, but he only finds his adamantium skeleton. He will then chain the encounters of different variants of Wolverine with notably the cameo of Henry Cavill in an alternative version of the X-Men.

Questioned by the site ComicBook Movie, Dean Zimmerman returned to this variant of the character and revealed that his appearance of only a few seconds in this sequence cost a lot. The reason? The cost of designing the costume:
The brown and beige costume, we spent about $100,000 to make it.
And it's no wonder the production team put such a huge price tag on this costume because as Shane Reid points out, there's a ton of detail and such a high standard of workmanship that was expected:
It's completely handmade. It's made to the millimeter to fit Hugh's body.
