According to Bloomberg, Musk previously called for Robinson to be released from prison.

Robinson is now in prison after admitting that he violated a court order by repeating false statements about a Syrian refugee. He was previously convicted of a number of other crimes, including mortgage fraud, assault and using someone else's documents.
