China will limit exports of aviation and of space components

China has announced control over the export of some aviation equipment and technologies.

China will control the export of some aviation and space components from July 1. In this statement, China's Ministry of Commerce cited the need to protect the country's national security and interests.

How exports will be carried out

Those wishing to export items, including aerospace structural components, as well as equipment and software used in engine manufacturing, among others, will have to apply for an export license, which must be jointly signed by China Customs and the Central by the military commission.

“In order to protect national security and interests, as well as to fulfill international obligations, such as non-proliferation, with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, it was decided to introduce export controls on the following points”, – said the statement of the Ministry of Commerce of China.
