China stole the submarine detector of the American P-8A aircraft at sea

The Chinese military recently intercepted an underwater probe dropped by a US military aircraft in the South China Sea. According to Reuters, this happened after American military aircraft were spotted flying over the waters of the South China Sea and dropping “unidentified objects”.

“The probe can be used to detect Chinese submarine signals and to counter submarine signals,” — the Chinese military said.
