Car of the year in Ukraine: winners of the promotion announced

The best cars in Ukraine were chosen for the first time since 2022. Most of the winners are models with increased cross-country ability. Radio Maximum tells which cars are most often chosen by Ukrainians.

Laureates of the “Car of the Year in Ukraine 2024” campaign have been announced. This year, crossovers dominate among the winners. This is reported on the campaign website.

The best cars in Ukraine have been chosen since 2001. The winners are traditionally determined based on the results of voting by car enthusiasts on the campaign website (public jury) and leading Ukrainian auto journalists (expert jury).

The best car of 2024 in Ukraine is the new Peugeot 408. Winners were also determined in a number of nominations.

  • City crossover – Kia Sportage;
  • SUV/SUV – Volkswagen Touareg;
  • Electric car – Volvo EX30;
  • Hybrid car – Honda HR-V;
  • Sports car – Porsche 911 Carrera T;
  • Pickup – Ford Ranger;
  • Premium segment car – BMW XM;
  • Price/quality ratio – Kia Sportage;
  • Design – Mazda CX-60;
  • Sales leader – Renault Duster;
  • Brand of the year – Toyota.

In 2023, the promotion “Car of the Year in Ukraine” was not held due to a full-scale Russian invasion, and in 2022 its winners were Citroen C4 and Hyundai Tucson.
