Canadian scholars have created a revolutionary nuclear microreactor that can work for 8 years without human intervention

< IMG SRC = "/Uploads/Blogs/85/85/8F/IB-FQACVIUC0_9EA2A6BB." ALT = "Canadian scientists have created a revolutionary nuclear microreactor that can work 8 years without human intervention"/~ 62 < p > Canadian company Eavor Technologies has introduced an Evinci micro -core reactor capable of working up to eight years without refueling. The development is intended for autonomous energy supply of remote regions, industrial facilities and military bases. Its compact size and modular design allow you to transport the reactor in a standard container and quickly expand without the need for large -scale infrastructure.

< p >Evinci uses solid fuel coolant, which provides stable work without the risk of overheating and the need for liquid cooling. This significantly reduces the likelihood of accidents and increases the safety of operation. The reactor power varies from 1 to 5 megawatts, which makes it suitable for small settlements and enterprises with average electricity consumption.

< P > The main advantage of technology is its autonomy: after the start of Evinci can work without operator intervention for eight years. Upon completion of the cycle, the waste fuel remains in a sealed building, which facilitates its disposal and transportation to specialized storage facilities. Thanks to this feature, micro -nuclear reactors can be placed in environmentally sensitive regions without significant environmental impact.

< P > Developers claim that & nbsp; evinci is capable of providing an economically advantageous alternative to diesel generators that are widely used in distant areas. The cost of & nbsp; the operation of such a reactor is much lower because it does not & nbsp; requires regular fuel supply. In addition, the absence of carbon emissions makes it environmentally friendly in & nbsp; comparable to & nbsp; traditional energy sources.

< P > It is expected that & nbsp; the first commercial specimens of Evinci will begin to be operated to & nbsp; 2030. Currently, technology undergoes certification in & nbsp; Canada and & nbsp; USA.
