Call of Duty will soon feature a new mode based on the famous Netflix series

The global phenomenon “The Squid Game” is coming soon to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as part of the franchise's ever-expanding list of collaborations. Players will soon be able to experience the world of the famous Netflix series in a completely new way, although the exact details are still being kept secret.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine (Styler project) with reference to the GameSpot website, which specializes in news, reviews, articles and videos related to video games and the entertainment industry.

Activision has released a short trailer in which an operative from Black Ops 6 raises a business card from the series “The Squid Game” – a brown card with the symbols of a circle, triangle and square. This crossover has been confirmed for January 2025, which coincides nicely with the release of the second season of “Squid Game” on Netflix on December 26th.

The Call of Duty teaser doesn't reveal the exact details of the collaboration, but it's likely to include cosmetic items and at least one operator skin styled after the series. This content could be available as a paid pack or earned through an in-game event.

Last year, Modern Warfare 3 featured several major crossovers, including WWE superstars, characters from The Boys, and the Fallout, Dune, and other universes. These collaborations included both free content and paid bundles.
