British developers integrate revolutionary artificial intelligence into Type 93 combat submarines

< img src = "/uploads/blogs/2d/7d/ib-fqfcSoub1_6240df4a.jpg" Alt = "British developers integrate revolutionary artificial intelligence into battle submarines Type 93"/~ 62 < P > The United Kingdom has announced an ambitious Project Cabot plan aimed at creating an autonomous anti -thread defense system (ASW) in the North Atlantic. This initiative is part of the updated strategic defense concept of Great Britain and provides for the deployment of unmanned and autonomous platforms for large -scale underwater activity monitoring.

~ ~ < p > The Cabot project will be implemented in two stages. The first stage, Atlantic Net, involves the use of ASW as services (ASW-AS-A-SERVICE). This model assumes that autonomous systems will be operated by contractors, and the obtained acoustic data will be transmitted to the center of remote operations of the royal fleet, where they will be analyzed with artificial intelligence. Atlantic Net is expected to become fully functional for two years.

< P > In the second stage, BASION ATLANTIC, the royal fleet will fully take control of autonomous platforms. This phase is planned to deploy a Type 92 unmanned surface and large autonomous submarine apparatus Type 93. The possibility of using new underwater restraining systems developed in the UK is also being considered. It is expected that the transition to fully military administration will take place by 2030.

< P > The command of the royal fleet emphasizes that autonomous ASW systems will provide mass and continuous observation in the region, allowing to focus traditional naval platforms on other tasks. Project Cabot also integrates with NATO efforts in the field of joint unmanned solutions to combat underwater threats.
