Blumhouse: the famous horror studio launches into video games (trailer)

Blumhouse Studio is one of the largest horror film studios in the world. Cult studio founded by Jason Blum, Blumhouse has produced some of cinema's most iconic modern horror franchises. Soon, the famous studio will diversify by launching into the world of video games. We explain to you:

Blumhouse: the kings of American horror cinema

It was in 2000 that producer Jason Blum decided to create his own production house: Blumhouse.Quickly, the producer specialized in horror cinema and became a reference in the genre. In a 2-minute promotional video, the studio presents its products to the public. his fans hisFirst 6 new games. The production therefore shares the first images of the gameplay of Fear the Spotlight, Crisol: Theater of Idols, Grave Seasons, The Simulation and Sleep Awake .

Fear the Spotlight will be a strong homage to the PS1 survival horrors. Players will explore a cursed school in which a mysterious ray of light stalks the characters.

Crisol: Theater of Idols is a survival horror set in Spain, in the small town of Tormentosa. The folkloreIt will be staged and players will play characters who will have to face killer dolls. The protagonist's only weapon: a weapon fire that works with blood. The player will therefore have to draw on his own life bar to defend himself.

Grave Seasons will feature a dark investigation into a serial killer. The story will present a murderer the countryside which disrupts the quiet life of an isolated village.

The Simulation promises a meta adventure in its own right. the way of Matrix Resurrections. The player will play agame designer in charge of to dissect a confidential horror game. But the game in question would be the key; to solve a real murder. The hero will eventually unlock another strain of the game, a game within the game, which will lead him into an increasingly dangerous investigation.

Finally, Sleep Awake is presented. like a psychedelic horror game. In a small town, the inhabitants disappear one after the other in their sleep. A culture is then born in which no one dares to fall asleep anymore. Except that insomnia has particularly strange effects on the brain.
