Bill Gates recommended a book about AI that everyone should read

Bill Gates recommends a book that explains how AI will change the way almost everyone works in five years, writes CNBC. We have selected the main ones.

What happened

Bill Gates recommends everyone to read the book The Coming Wave: Technology, Power, and the Twenty-first Century’s Greatest Dilemma, which predicts that AI will change the face of most jobs in the next five years.

The book is written by one of the leading AI experts and co-founder of DeepMind Mustafa Suleiman. The author of the book predicts radical changes in the work processes of almost every industry due to the rapid development of AI. The scientist cites a McKinsey study that predicts that half of all work tasks will be automated by 2030.

According to him, AI will initially increase the efficiency of workers, but will eventually replace many jobs, including administrative, customer service and content creation. At the same time, experts suggest that by 2030, AI will create 78 million more jobs than it can replace.

Why this is interesting

Bill Gates and Suleiman remain optimistic about the future of AI. They believe that if workers are prepared for change and learn to use new technologies, AI can bring enormous benefits, including medical research, innovative solutions to climate change, and high-quality education for all. To prepare for these changes, they advise starting by learning the basics of AI through free online services or courses.
