Baron made a mistake on “The Voice of Poland.” He said the famous musician was already dead

Baron had a big slip-up. He suggested the death of an artist who is still alive.

According to the “Pomponik” portal, in the last episode of the program “The Voice of Poland” Baron had a big slip-up. The musician of the Afromental band, although he usually shines with his musical knowledge, did not show off this time — to put it mildly. He suggested Elton John's death. Find out the details.

Baron had a big slip-up

Another episode of “The Voice of Poland” is behind us. There's a lot of talk in the media not only about the participants' performances, but also about Aleksander Malwiw-Baron's big slip-up. It all started with Mikołaj Przybylski's performance, who presented the song “Rocket Man” from Elton John's repertoire.

Baron really liked the performance, but he went a bit overboard in his assessment. He suggested that Elton John was already dead, calling him a “late” artist. Of course, Baron was reminded of his mistake, although he himself admitted that he did not remember using such words.

Elton John is alive, although he left the stage

Elton John has been struggling with serious health problems for some time now. As “Pomponik” recalls, in 1999 he underwent a procedure to implant a pacemaker. In 2017, he underwent surgery for cancer that had been diagnosed in him.

In the summer of this year, the musician announced that he was battling an eye infection that left him with “limited vision.” The artist did not hide the fact that he was recovering thanks to the care he received from both his loved ones and the medical team.

Although the artist had been announcing the end of his musical activity for years, he finally decided to take this step only in 2022. “The time has come. I'm not saying goodbye to music, but when it comes to touring and traveling the world, I don't want to do that anymore. I've been doing that since I was 17,” he wrote on social media, saying goodbye to the stage.
