According to the principled position of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office together with the Novomoskovsk District Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, a citizen was sentenced to 10 years in prison for taking photos and videos of military facilities.
By the verdict of the Novomoskovsk City District Court of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, a resident of the Luhansk Region, who moved to the city of Dnipro was found guilty of disseminating information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, if they could be identified on the ground, for selfish motives (Part 2, 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Prosecutors who supported the prosecution in court proved that the man, at the request of curators from representatives of the Russian special services, voluntarily agreed to cooperate and filmed military facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in particular a military hospital, a military educational institution, as well as checkpoints, and sent the received photos and video files to the customer.
During the repeated photoshoot in September 2022 year «photographer» was detained. The accused is in custody.
