Apple has made repairing the iPhone 16 easier, and now the battery can be replaced using electric current, writes The Verge. Here's the details.

One of the interesting points during disassembly was that the camera control button in the iPhone 16 — a real moving part equipped with a flexible cable that possibly measures the force of the push. In addition, the device has a radiator that cools the neural engine of the A18 chip during complex AI tasks.

However, the main highlight of this year's model was a new way to replace the battery. Apple is the first to use an adhesive that peels off under the influence of an electric current, allowing easy removal of the battery.

For this, it is enough to apply current from a power source (for example, a 9-volt battery), and after a few seconds the battery’ disconnects on its own . Then, to install the new battery, simply push it into place.
