Apple is preparing two new folded devices – whether they should be expected

< IMG SRC = "/Uploads/Blogs/E9/68/IB-FRL152LJO_F4A499EA.jpg" Alt = "Apple prepares two new folded devices-whether they should be expected"/> ~ < P > Apple is famous for being in no hurry to start new products, but information about the compound versions of the iPhone and iPad has reappeared. Not all observers are convinced that the company is really hurry.

< p > About it writes Techradar.

< H2 ID = "H2_0" > Whether compound iPhone and iPad from Apple < p > According to information from the Hong Kong Analytics Jeff Pu, Apple can start mass production of two folding devices & mdash; 7.8-inch and 18.8-inch models & mdash; Already at the end of next year or early 2027.

< p > Other industry experts, including Ming-Chu Cuo and Mark Gourman from Bloomberg, have also been suggested that a folding iPhone could be released in 2026.

< p >If a lot of forecasts have already appeared about the possible launch of the 7.8-inch iPhone, then the larger device is enveloped in a greater secret. Some sources indicate that the development of a folding iPad is moving more difficult than planned, and its release can be postponed.

< P > Samsung Galaxy Fold, the first folding smartphone from Samsung, was released in 2019. Since then, Apple has shown caution: the company has not been in a hurry to join the race of folded phones, because in recent years devices with such a form factor have not become absolute market leaders.

< p > Tim Cook is known for a thorough approach to launching new technologies & mdash; This was the case with the Apple Watch smart -hour and Promotion screens in the iPhone. Therefore, it is more likely that a complex iPhone will be the first to “feel the soil” among users. Only then Apple can decide to bring up a complex iPad (or hybrid from MacOS) to the market.

< P > The analyst Jeff Pu did not speak of a future complex iPad for the first time: he used to have a tablet that could work on MacOS, actually turning into a folding MacBook. The question remains whether both devices will see the world at the same time.

< P > Although skeptics believe that Apple is unlikely to run the risk of launching two completely new form factors at the same time, the forecasts for 2026 are still circulating. Certainly Apple adheres to a cautious strategy and pays special attention to stability and market demand.
