An early riser and a notebook: Richard Branson's rules for success

Richard Branson < p>British billionaire Richard Branson is the founder of the Virgin Group, a conglomerate of companies in the fields of travel, telecommunications, entertainment and more. And he is also known for his passion for extreme travel. Radio Maximum tells the main rules of his success.

In 2021, the US Aviation Administration even recognized him as an astronaut – for making the first private flight into space. This is written on the Start Something platform!

What helps Branson find ideas and energy to implement them?

1. Wakes up earlier than others
Branson wakes up at 5 or 6 in the morning after six hours of sleep – no alarm clock. He likes to sleep with the curtains open so that the sunlight wakes him up. Believes that natural light is great for motivating and feeling enthusiastic about the day ahead.

2. Keeps the body in shape for new records
To be able to realize his desperate plans, the billionaire keeps his body in shape. Around 6:15 a.m., Branson goes to play tennis, and then, weather permitting, kitesurfs. He also has time in his schedule for training in the gym – about 20 minutes.

3. Drinks a lot of tea
Branson drinks at least one cup of tea with his favorite traditional breakfast. And during the day, to maintain energy, he can drink another twenty. Says he feels great after giving up coffee.

4. Goes down to business after a joint meal
Not a fan of formal meetings, Branson likes to first cheer up his guests with a joint meal, and if there is enough time, with a walk. And after that he invites them to work.

Branson believes that dinners are a time and place where stories are shared and where ideas are born.

5. Always carries a notebook with him
Branson carries a notebook with him everywhere, where he writes down not only conversations, but also his thoughts.

Everything I see and hear can be a spark for a new idea. Then I often flip through old notebooks to find fresh ideas or to make sure I haven't missed anything. I would advise all young people entering life to have a notebook with them, says the billionaire. .png” alt=”Waking Up Early and a Notebook: Richard Branson's Rules for Success” />
