The American company L3Harris Technologies has introduced AMORPHOUS software, which allows you to control thousands of drones from different manufacturers through a single interface. The technology is intended for the US Armed Forces and their allies. The system provides the ability to simultaneously coordinate unmanned systems, their payloads and other related platforms, reports Army Recognition.
The main feature of AMORPHOUS is support for decentralized decision-making: each drone in the network can autonomously perform tasks and make tactical decisions in real time. This significantly increases the effectiveness of their use in combat conditions.
The company is already developing prototypes of the system within contracts with the US Army and the Defense Innovation Unit. During testing, AMORPHOUS demonstrated the ability to coordinate different types of drones and transport platforms in different combat domains.
