Aid to Ukraine is an investment in EU security - Burbock

It is outrageous that aid to Ukraine from an aggressive country is considered a charitable gesture.

This idea was expressed by German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, speaking in Berlin at a conference on the National Security Strategy, reports Tagesschau.

"Discussions are irritating, in which support for Ukraine is viewed as a charitable gesture, and not as what it really is – an investment in our own national security, the defense of peace and freedom,” noted Bärbock.

The head of the German Foreign Ministry also noted that “there can be no greater national interest than this.”

"We will defend our Europe – every square centimeter of our Europe – and our freedom", – assured the head of the German Foreign Ministry.
