Agatha All Along: The most intriguing twist of the series spoiled by Marvel Studios

The first two episodes of Agatha All Along will finally be available for streaming on September 18 on Disney+, in less than a week. The trailer unveiled by Marvel this summer promises a delightfully spooky show, with its share of revelations… One of which, and the most interesting, has just been blown away by a studio blunder!

the identity of this character spoiled by marvel

In Agatha All Along, the spin-off of WandaVision, we find the enemy of the Scarlet Witch deprived of her powers and prisoner of her own mind. She is freed from this distortion spell by a mysterious goth teenager who begs her to take him to the legendary Witches' Road. If they survive the set of magical trials that compose it, they will be offered what they desire. Together, the duo forms a Coven and sets off on an adventure… An adventure of which Marvel Studios has just revealed the most interesting twist, namely the identity of the sorcerer played by actor Joe Locke, just 20 years old. According to rumors, it would be  Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan, one of the two sons of the Scarlet Witch.

And thanks to a blunder by Marvel Studios, we now know that this is indeed the case. Indeed, as reported by our colleagues at The Direct, the character is not named on the vast majority of official marketing… Except on the non-English subtitles of the official trailer! If you select another language, you will see that the character of Joe Locke is now called “Billy”. According to popular theories, he would have been reincarnated in another body following the events of WandaVision, and above all, in another reality. than the one invented by her mother. Her goal, by taking the Witches' Road, would then be to be able to be reunited with the Scarlet Witch, which constitutes one of the two clues to the latter's return.

Hoping that Marvel Studios does not spoil the surprise with another blunder, we will soon have the answer in images!
