Agatha All Along: Marvel series achieves this surprising feat

Last week, MCU fans discovered that the series Agatha All Along had finally confirmed the existence of this cult character from the Marvel universe, suggesting that a major villain could soon appear in the franchise. And if the series continues to be talked about at the moment, it is because it has achieved a rather impressive feat that could well influence future projects to come.

The big comeback of Marvel Studios thanks to Agatha All Along?

Launched on September 19 on Disney+, Agatha All Along was awaited by many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since it is a spin-off of WandaVision, which is for many one of the best Marvel series to date. The new MCU series therefore follows that of 2021, focusing this time on the character of Agatha Harkness played by Kathryn Hahn.

And while early reviews suggested that Agatha All Along was a worthy successor to the main series centered on the famous Scarlet Witch, it would seem that the new spin-off series has indeed succeeded in its bet, becoming the studio's highest-grossing series in history.

Indeed, it was during a recent interview with Variety that Brad Winderbaum, a Marvel Studios executive, revealed that Agatha All Along is currently recording the best continuation rate of any Marvel series. This therefore means that the spin-off manages to retain viewers, who return to the platform every week to see the new episode.

Add to that the fact that Agatha All Along is officially the “cheapest series” Marvel Studios has made to date, and it's easy to see why this is such a huge success for Marvel and Disney.

And to learn even more about Agatha All Along, here's the statement from the director of the Marvel series, who reflects on the shocking death in episode 3.
