According to SBU materials, another supporter of racism received a prison term

Thanks to the evidence base of the Security Service, another pro-Kremlin agitator from Cherkasy region, who contributed to the conduct of information campaigns of the Russian Federation, received a real term of imprisonment.

The court sentenced her to 5 years in prison, reports the press service of the SBU in Cherkasy region.

Cyber experts of the SBU exposed an enemy henchman in the winter of 2023. To «disperse» destructive content, the figurehead created dozens of profiles on the Russian social network.

The attacker praised Putin and supported the Russian Federation's aggressive war against our state. She also glorified the war crimes of racists.

According to the investigation, the agitator turned out to be a resident of the Uman district.

The attacker created dozens of bots in the banned «Odnoklassniki», to which she gave the names of real people from her own environment.

To mask her criminal activity, she used a new SIM card of a subscriber of Ukrainian mobile operators to register an account each time.

Every day she filled fake pages with Russian content from propaganda forums. These were video and photo materials, posts and reposts that discredited the Ukrainian military, instead glorified the occupiers, justified their criminal actions and the commission of violence and violations of the rules of war.

The forensic linguistic examination initiated by the Security Service confirmed the facts of informational and subversive activities in favor of the enemy.

According to the materials of the SBU, the court found the perpetrator guilty of parts 2, 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The investigation was conducted by SBU investigators in Cherkasy region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
