A woman who published information about the location of military facilities in Chernivtsi received 5 years in prison

Following the public accusation of prosecutors from the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found a local resident guilty of unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of an AFU unit during martial law (Part 2, Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The citizen was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Prosecutors proved in court that last summer, the 54-year-old «activist» from Chernivtsi, made a video recording of the location of a special law enforcement unit within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman published the collected information on her personal channel on the video hosting «YouTube», where it was viewed by 8,600 people, and also posted it on her own page on «TikTok».

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region.
