A veteran's certificate appeared in Diya: how to create a document

Now Ukrainians do not need to carry a paper document with them. The Ministry of Digitization has finally launched a veteran's digital ID card in Diya.

This was announced on June 5 by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

In the application of public services “Diya” with “a new digital document for defenders has appeared – a veteran's certificate.

We are working so that there is less bureaucracy in the lives of our defenders. Now you don't need to carry a paper document with you, the certificate will always be at hand – in your smartphone, – the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine notes.

A veteran's card can be obtained by those who have the following status:

  • combatant
  • person with a disability as a result of the war< /li>
  • participant in the war
  • injured participant in the Revolution of Dignity
  • family member of the fallen war veteran
  • family member of the fallen defender of Ukraine< /li>

To add a document, you need to update the application, scroll through all the documents in Action, click “Add document”, select “Veteran's ID” and give permission to receive data and click “Add ID”. The document should be uploaded to the application within a few minutes.
