The office of the manufacturers of the Zircon rocket was searched in Moscow

In Moscow, police officers and the FSB conducted a search in the office of the Research Center for Automated Design Systems, Radio Liberty reports.

Research Center ASK is part of the Tactical Missiles Corporation, which produces Zircon hypersonic missiles. In February it was reported that the Russian army began to use “Zircons” during shelling of Ukraine.

At the same time, a search took place in the Sirena-Travel company, the developer of the Russian Leonardo airline ticket reservation system, whose office is located in the same building as the Research Center ASK.

The media note that nothing has been reported about the reasons for the operational measures in the office of the Research Center ASK, however, a search at Sirena-Travel is connected “with large-scale attacks on the IT infrastructure of the Russian ticket booking system, which the company faced last fall.” It is alleged that the company itself notified law enforcement agencies “about information security incidents.” and “provides access to all necessary documents and data during the investigation.”

At the same time, are the searches at the Research Center ASK and Sirena-Travel connected? among themselves – unknown. About any successful hacker attacks against the manufacturers of the Zircon rocket. nothing had been previously reported.

Last fall, hackers from the Muppets group, allegedly associated with Ukraine, hacked the database of the Sirena-Travel system. with information about passengers of Russian airlines Aeroflot, Rossiya, Azur Air, Red Wings, Pobeda and “Ural Airlines”. The hackers claimed to have gained access to 664.6 million records of air travel between 2007 and 2023, in particular the names and telephone numbers of passengers, their routes and information on ticket prices.
