A programmer who planned to flee Ukraine was tried in Vinnytsia region

The Mogilev-Podilskyi City District Court of Vinnytsia region considered the case of a programmer from the EVNE Developers company, who, according to border guards, attempted to illegally cross the Ukrainian border into Moldova.

The court established that the man was detained by border guards on November 17 at 4:40 p.m. He tried to swim across the Dniester River.

In a written statement, the man admitted his guilt.

Therefore, the court imposed a fine of UAH 3,400 on the programmer. The IT worker must also pay UAH 605.6 in court fees to the budget.

The ruling can be appealed to the Vinnytsia Court of Appeal through the Mohyliv-Podilskyi City District Court within 10 (ten) days from the date of its issuance.
