A patch has been released for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, fixing over 650 issues in the game

The first major patch has been released for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, fixing over 650 issues. The update also improves game balance, eases the difficulty of “Novice” and fixes AI-related bugs. The full list of changes is published on the game's page on Steam.

It is worth noting that the GSC Game World studio released a patch only for the PC version of the game. The update will be released a little later on the Xbox Series X|S.

Among other things, the developers have fixed over 20 AI issues, about 100 crashes, and 20 different bugs that occur in cutscenes in the update.

In addition to fixing bugs, the developers have made balance adjustments in the patch. For example, they have reduced the cost of repairing equipment, increased cash rewards, and increased armor strength. In addition, they have slightly adjusted the characteristics of individual creatures.

GSC Game World reported that they continue to work on improving the game. In particular, they are working on fixing bugs related to the A-Life system, which will be fixed in future patches.
