In Odesa, the police arrested a man who robbed a teenager. The intruder took possession of the mobile phone of a 13-year-old boy. This is reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Odesa region. The boy left his backpack on the bench and rode a bicycle nearby. This was used by the attacker who was passing by. He rummaged through someone else's backpack and took a phone worth 6,000 hryvnias from him.

The teenager caught the man while he was holding his gadget and asked him to return it. However, the perpetrator fled, and the boy told his father about the incident, who contacted the local police department.

The law enforcement officers identified the offender the same day. He turned out to be a 36-year-old resident of the same district where the crime was committed. The man admitted that he planned to sell the phone and get money for it, which he actually did. But the police searched for the property he sold and returned it to the owner.
