A man was convicted in Ukraine for spreading information about the CCK's mobilization activities

A man who managed a group on a social network where he published information about the location of CCC employees, as well as about the holding of mobilization events, was convicted in the Volyn region. This became known from the verdict of the Kovel City District Court of the Volyn region in case No. 159/7546/24.

As indicated in the case materials, the man was the administrator of the group on Viber, where there were over 13 thousand subscribers. The accused published there information about the location of representatives of the CCC and their mobilization activities.

By his actions, he hindered the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. Publications in the messenger complicated or made it impossible to carry out the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations or significantly reduced its effectiveness.

Thus, by his intentional actions, the man committed a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In court, he pleaded guilty to committing this criminal offense and signed a plea agreement with the prosecutor.

The court released the man from a real prison term with a probationary period of 12 months. The verdict can be appealed to the Volyn Court of Appeal within 30 days.
