A homemade recipe for gray roots. Our grandmothers and mothers used it

How to Deal with Gray Hair? This home remedy was used by women in the Polish People's Republic.

As reported by the “Onet” portal, in the Polish People's Republic, women were forced to deal with gray hair using home remedies. One of them was particularly effective and enjoyed considerable popularity.

Home remedies for grey hair

Although there is no shortage of people who are not bothered by grey hair, there are also those who are happy to get rid of it. The most common way to hide it is to dye your hair yourself or at a hairdresser. It turns out, however, that there are many proven solutions that will help us deal with gray hair in the comfort of our homes.

One of the tricks that women have been using for years is using coffee to cover gray hair. As “Onet” notes, it is a natural dye. In order to bring a noticeable effect, regular use is important. Just two weeks is enough to see that it actually works.

Preparing a coffee rinse is child's play. Brew coffee with boiling water and leave the infusion to cool. When it is cold, apply it to your hair and leave it for about 20 minutes. After this time, rinse your hair.

If not coffee, then nut

As indicated by “Onet”, an alternative solution to a coffee rinse is to prepare it with nut shells. A handful of shells should be thrown into boiling water, waiting until the infusion turns dark brown. As in the case of coffee infusion, the rinse should be used after it has cooled down.

Oak bark rinse is equally effective. This can be obtained in stores and pharmacies. The benefit of using it is not only getting rid of gray hair, but also the beneficial effect of oak bark on oily scalp.
