Against the background of an acute shortage of electricity in Ukraine, a program of state subsidies for the purchase of autonomous energy systems has been launched – and heat supply.
Currently, the program is available for associations of co-owners of multi-apartment buildings (HOAs), Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced on the air of the telethon.
For him in other words, condominiums can receive a "irrevocable grant" in the amount of up to ₴1 million for the installation of solar power plants and up to ₴2 million of the same non-refundable grant for the installation of heat pumps for heating. There are almost 40,000 condominiums in the country . For them, there is a special “Green House” program launched by the Energy Efficiency Fund. We have already received the first application from Drohobych, Lviv region. The condominium is installing a solar power plant with a capacity of 36 kW. The Energy Efficiency Fund will irrevocably reimburse 70% of costs», — said Shmyhal.
The head of the government also called on Ukrainians to "push" their condominiums to participate in this program to make houses energy-independent.
