A 39-year-old man was on the run from the law. Police tracked him down by finding a human hand sticking out of a washing machine.

A man from the Łączna commune in the Świętokrzyskie province was hiding from the police to avoid imprisonment. As it turned out, he found a very unusual place to do so. Ultimately, the officers found him… in a washing machine!

A man successfully hid from the justice system for several months. He was wanted because he failed to show up at prison after being sentenced to 40 days in jail for an unpaid fine.

Despite officers coming to search his home several times, nothing was found and it seemed that the 39-year-old had disappeared into thin air. Eventually, however, they accidentally discovered his whereabouts.

The man had been hiding in the washing machine the whole time

Eventually, officers managed to catch the man last Friday while searching the garage. As it turned out, the hand sticking out of the washing machine gave him away.

The 39-year-old's clever hiding place was discovered by police officers discovered during a search of the garage on the premises. They noticed an automatic washing machine standing in the room. Through the round hole for loading clothes they saw a human hand, and after a moment – the wanted person inside

– reported cadet Jarosław Gw&źdź, press officer of the Skarżysko police.

39-year-old converted washing machine into unusual hiding place

After making this discovery, it turned out that the man had deliberately dismantled the entire internal mechanism of the washing machine so that he could hide inside. He entered through the unscrewed top panel.

Every time the police showed up, the 39-year-old waited in hiding the entire time.

On Friday, the man was arrested and sent to jail, where he will spend the next 40 days

– Gwóźdź reported.

It must be admitted that the wanted man showed an exceptional sense of creativity!
