In Odesa, swindlers tricked 12 Odessans with the help of fake ads on the Internet, offering a quick repair of gadgets. After receiving a smartphone for repair, they disappeared and blocked the owner. In this way, it was possible to take possession of equipment worth 66,000 hryvnias, the police reported. After the owners of the smartphones realized that they had fallen in with fraudsters, they turned to the police.
