Moving on your feet in the water is not the most efficient solution, especially compared to screw mechanisms. However, the task of the developers of this machine was different: the video shows the reliability of the design and the dynamism of the robot.

According to the creators, the Medoid, originally developed for ground operations, can be useful in search and rescue missions at disaster sites.
