The Russian army modernized the Shahed attack drones, which significantly affected their maneuverability. Now enemy drones fly faster and at a higher altitude.

This is reported by analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War.

As noted in ISW, a Ukrainian soldier , who operates in the mobile air defense unit, said on October 15 that Russian Shahed drones used to be very slow, difficult to maneuver and could only fly at low altitudes, but since then Russian forces have upgraded the components of the Shahed drones to fly faster and higher. 

The Armed Forces serviceman also noted that Ukrainian mobile fire groups have also improved their equipment and tactics to continue shooting down Russian attack drones.
