Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurinas Kaschyunas announced that the first combat FPV drones produced by Lithuanian companies will arrive at the ministry's warehouses at the end of this week.
The minister's statement is cited by Delfi, reports ” European truth”.
According to Kaschyunas, part of the drones will be transferred to Ukraine, another part – to the Lithuanian Armed Forces by the end of this year.
“On Friday, the first Lithuanian drones will arrive at our warehouses. They will be delivered to Ukraine and the Lithuanian army”, – he said.

In August, the Defense Resources Agency noted that in of Lithuanian manufacturers of combat drones – Dangolakis, RSI Europe, Ltmiltech, Granta Autonomy and Unmanned Defense Systems – purchases drones for 8 million euros, which will be handed over to the Lithuanian army and Ukraine.
The Lithuanian army will be supplied with more than 2.3 thousand FPV drones for 3 million euros, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be supplied with almost 5 thousand drones of the same type for 5 million euros.
It was also reported that the Armed Forces of Lithuania are starting a new stage of strengthening their operational capabilities – they plan to acquire naval surface drones and integrate them into the Navy.
