Lesia Pavlyuk, a primary school teacher from Ivano-Frankivsk, became the main winner of the national award Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024.

The choice in favor of the victory of Ms. Lesya was unequivocal – she won the favor of both the expert jury and the national vote, which was conducted on the “Diya.Osvita” portal.
Lesia Pavliuk was one of the first teachers in her school to start working with an inclusive class even before the reform of NUS. The teacher also uses innovative methods, game technologies and mental arithmetic in her work with children.

The victory in the competition brought Lesya Pavlyuk the main prize – 1,000,000 hryvnias for the implementation of her own educational project and the opportunity to attend the Global Teacher Prize.

The Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024 is designed to celebrate the achievements of teachers not only in relation to their students, but also in relation to society. And also to emphasize the importance of teachers in Ukraine.

This year, the award honored a teacher who was first elected through a poll on the national platform Diya.Osvita. More than 13 thousand Ukrainians voted for the national teacher.
We remind you that this year 1,210 educators submitted their applications, and another 2,059 teachers were nominated by parents, students and colleagues. From this number, ten finalists were chosen after independent evaluation.
