Microsoft has named the gaming features of the Windows 11 operating system that are not available in Windows 10

Microsoft has published a list of exclusive Windows 11 gaming features to convince users to upgrade from Windows 10. The company reminds that support for “dozens” will end in 2025, which makes the transition to a new operating system particularly important.

What else is known

One of the unique features of Windows 11 is Auto HDR, which automatically improves colors and contrasts in games, and DirectStorage, which shortens the loading time of games on NVMe SSD and reduces the load on the processor.

The system also has optimizations for windowed games, an HDR Calibration app, support for Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7, color filters for the color blind, Dynamic Lighting to synchronize device backlighting with games, and an updated Xbox app for access to Game Pass.

Despite its advantages, Windows 11 at the same time requires modern hardware, which creates difficulties for owners of old PCs.

Microsoft encourages users whose devices do not meet the requirements to consider purchasing a new computer to enjoy all the features of the new OS.
